Mark has 30 years’ experience in accounting practice both in the UK and overseas. A significant number of his clients have been foreign-invested and therefore required to comply with both group and local regulatory requirements. Services have included incorporation assistance, pre-acquisition reviews, outsourced finance function as well as audit and internal control reviews.
Mark has worked widely under both IFRS and US GAAP and as presented to external audiences on the use and first-time application of IFRS in addition to the implementation of FRS 102 in the UK.
Mark has worked with clients in a wide range of industries, including property, utilities, oil & gas, mining, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and leisure.
Based on this experience, Mark currently focusses on providing audit services to UK listed companies, PE-funded groups, and businesses with an international dimension.
Mark qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand after working in manufacturing industry, which included a 1-year secondment to internal audit.
