Every principal, partner or director (PPD member) of any property company that holds client money has to submit on application an accountant’s report showing they comply with ARLA byelaw 3. These must be submitted to ARLA (Association of Residential Lettings Agents) within six months of an organisation’s financial year end.
ARLA only accepts an accountant’s report if it has been completed and signed by a chartered or certified accountant. This accountant must also be a member of one of the supervisory bodies, as recognised by the Financial Reporting Council’s Professional Oversight Board for Accountancy.
At Parker Russell UK LLP, we can ensure you meet all required standards and submissions set out by ARLA. We’ll carry out all the necessary compliance work on your behalf, with efficiency, thanks to our industry knowledge and experience. Any annual report we produce will confirm your compliance with ARLA’s byelaws, including mandatory reconciliations. This allows partners and other members of our client’s teams to focus on their day to day responsibilities.
Our ARLA compliance service includes:
- Full compliance with ARLA bye-laws
- An Accountant’s report
- Systems support for any further assistance you may require in implementation
